I graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a Bachelors of Arts in Communications. I worked for 2 years in the film production business before making the switch to still photography. Then I moved to Paris and assisted fashion photographers. Two years later I moved to New York City where I worked as a freelance photographer for 6 years. I worked for art galleries and audio/visual production companies, museums, magazines and advertising agencies.
Now I am back in my hometown of Dallas, Texas. I create photographs for design studios, advertising agencies, corporations. My pictures are used in brochures, magazines, billboards, webpages and annual reports. I like to shoot people, places and things. I think being able to shoot all three makes me a better photographer. Just as cross training makes you a better athlete.

Most of the time I am required to go out on the photo assignment without the person who is responsible for hiring me, and getting the job done. So I am quite used to going solo. However, when my clients ARE able to be there on the shoot I enjoy collaborating with them very much. Problem solving is one of the most satisfying parts of photography and two heads are usually better than one.
I can spend several days on one shot, or shoot dozens of shots in one day. It is up to the client. So I am very flexible. The more time I have to work on each shot, the better it is going to look. It is up to the client how much time I spend on each shot, and thus how good each shot is going to turn out. But when volume is more important than quality, I can get the job done.
I am very driven to please my client. I believe that repeat business is the key to success.
